Lexie can't help herself then. Leaning forward a little, she wraps her arms lightly around the other girl, the embrace brief but heartfelt, and absolutely necessary, as far as she can tell. Whoever would have attacked her in such a way, it's still incomprehensible to her, but it's always been her job to make up for the part that comes after anyway. Sometimes, it can actually help being overly compassionate in her work.
